The Finance Office is responsible for providing financial information, payroll services, and the administration of all other financial affairs of the Town.  The Finance Office is also responsible for the preparation, execution, and archiving of the Town budget and finance documents as prescribed by State law.

The Town audit is prepared yearly by Gould Killian CPA Group, P.A. . The goal of the Town audit is to evaluate the performance of a unit of local government with regard to compliance with all applicable Federal and State agency regulations in accordance with General Statute §159-34. The Town audit is available online after completion and approval of the N.C. Local Government Commission, and review by Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
