Utility Billing
Utility Billing & Collections is located on the main floor of Town Hall at 280 North Main Street. The office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday (closed on Town holidays). The Town Hall parking lot is located behind the building.
You may pay your bill five ways - mail, in-person, online through the Town website, telephone, and two drop boxes.
If you have had your service disconnected, please come to our office at Town Hall or call (828) 689-2301 to find out your exact amount due and to re-initiate service.
Mailed payments are accepted, however we are not responsible for the U.S. mail service. Payments may be delayed or lost in the mail. If you pay by mail please DO NOT send cash. If you use your bank's bill pay service or if you mail your payment send it to the address below:

In-person payment is only available at Town Hall from 8:30 AM till 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. You may pay with cash, check, money order, or with a credit/debit card or any tap device (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). If you need help with credit card transactions staff are available to help walk you through the process.
Online Mars Hill uses InvoiceCloud for online bill pay, follow this link. NOTE: You may only pay using a Mastercard, Visa, Discover card or an E-Check.
- If you use DOXO or any other 3rd party vendor your payment may not be received before the due date. We are not responsible for payments made through unauthorized 3rd parties.
