The Zoning Board of Adjustment has the powers to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is error in any order, requirements, decision, or determination made by the Zoning Administrator and to authorize upon appeal in specific cases such variance from the terms of the Ordinances.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment is composed of the sitting members of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen for the Town of Mars Hill.

Meetings: The Board meets at the call of the Chairman. Meetings are held at Town Hall and are open to the public. Notices are published in advance of the date and time.
