APPLY FOR A BOARD OR COMMITTEE

If you are interested in serving on a Board or Committee, download Application or request one from the Town's administrative office at Town Hall. Most appointments are for a two year term. Most Board or Committee appointments receive no compensation for their services. Once an application is received, the Town will place your name on the resource list for the particular Board. When vacancies occur, the Town Manager and Mayor will review the resource list and schedule interviews if necessary. Recommendations for appointment will then be given to the Mars Hill Town Council for approval. Applications will be active and kept on file for 12 months. Applicants can reapply if desired.
